Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 July, 10 – 4
Large scale printmaking in the landscape and in the studio!
Use acrylic plates, oil paints, ink, rags, brushes and tools to create spontaneous layered monoprints responding to the landscape around you. Print using layers of colour and multiple plates, onto backgrounds made in oil. Create gorgeous effects as you add, wipe, move, manipulate and reduce the ink on the plate, resulting in vibrant and rich prints.
Participants will work together in the morning at a pre-planned outdoor location, then return to the studio to make base plates and print the results. A collaborative and spontaneous 2 days!
